the Lake View Hotel

Please read the below as these form part of the contract between us:

Once you have booked a stay at The Lake View Hotel, our agreement is a legal contract and therefore a deposit to the value of your first night’s stay is required.

On receipt of a deposit this forms confirmation of your booking and is a confirmed agreement from both parties. The Lake View Hotel are then in full agreement to your forthcoming stay.

In the event that you decide to cancel your booking, a fee will be applicable for any cancellations made outside of the agreed terms. A booking cancelled prior to 10 days before arrival has a free cancellation policy and any pre-payment will be refunded. In the event of a cancellation after this time, or failure to arrive for your booking, you will be liable for cancellation fees to the value of your full stay.

If on the day of arrival circumstances dictate that you may arrive later than the designated check in time please ensure that you have notified the property in advance to avoid any confusion.

Please note that there is a lost key policy at the property and should any key given to a guest be mislaid or not returned at the time of departure then a £15.00 lost key charge will be applied to the bill.

Guests are to arrive at the main entrance. If in the unlikely event that guests arrive and are unable to see someone to check them in for their stay then a sign in the entrance porch advises them to ring the external doorbell which connects directly with the owners.

Check in time: 2pm – 10pm

Check out time: 10am

House Rules

Please note that it is illegal to smoke in any area of the property. All rooms are non smoking and have smoke detectors. In the interest of observing this law, the safety of all and as courtesy to others please ensure you do not smoke or vape in the property at any time.
